This is an awe-inspiring little item and burst camera.
I purchased it for the reason that I desired something with the aim of would take really kind photos but may well be undoubtedly slipped into my handbag whilst on vacation. My DSLR and lenses are a little bulky to be lugging around all time.

My earliest option later than interpretation tons of reviews was the Canon SX20, primarily for the reason that I really didn't hunger to sacrifice a viewfinder, plus it had the HD capture on tape capability. But I tolerate to pick up a hands on the artifact earliest and rebuff food in our area had single in routine.

When I found the L110 was a moment ago being released I firm to bestow it a reach....I tolerate to admit I am impressed....This is a neat little camera. I've read round about reviews someplace ancestors are dissapointed with the aim of near aren't every guidebook settings, but the many specific skin texture are really blameless instead of a moment ago more or less all conditions.

One countenance with the aim of I really like is the smart likeness setting - the camera will instinctively burst the pic as soon as it detects a smile. This countenance helped me pick up round about of the cutest photos of our baby nephew. When I was annoying on plain automobile mode I missed the smile each count. Theres besides a setting with the aim of will agree to you know if someone blinked with a pop up on screen alert. This certainly helps pass up folks *would've been a famous pic if solitary you hadn't blinked* photos with the aim of you notice hours later than the event.

Because instead of digital zoom...I don't really like it on every camera...So likelihood are I won't manage it except completely de rigueur. But, I did try it passй and found with the aim of using the bursting zoom capabilities you can pick up a pretty impressive photo of the moon, craters and all :O) (I'll advertise a photo I took of the moon with the L110) I did need to manage a trivet though, for the reason that by the side of with the aim of power zoom the camera shake was pretty bad. But it may well be a moment ago me, I don't tolerate the steadiest of hands.

I besides love with the aim of I can document HD capture on tape, even indoors in low light it's not really with the aim of bad as soon as played on a HD television. Outdoors in natural light it is pretty impressive. However, its not intended to change a plunk abandoned capture on tape camera so don't expect Hollywood results. Oh and the mic isn't ideally placed, but thats probably to make light of the recording of the lens movement as soon as zooming (it already picks up on it so pass up zooming if possible)

All in all its a famous camera and I didn't really unearth every real cons to it. It without doubt isn't a *pocket* camera, but its not bulky either, somewhere in the interior I'd say.
Oh and as instead of battery life.....Using either the elective recommended Nikon rechargeables, or the integrated energizer ultimates you won't be dissapointed, I a moment ago can't seem to pick up either of them to run passй of power.
